About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Dziadyk Framing Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Requirements
  • Permanent employment
  • 30-40 hours per week
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship training in carpentry
  • Experience in construction and woodworking
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments
