About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Automation Specialist to join our team at ProMach. As a key member of our technical services group, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure Wexxar equipment at customer sites
  • Perform field rebuilds and repairs of Wexxar equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service through troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues on Wexxar equipment
  • Advise customers on parts and maintenance requirements
  • Complete service reports and other administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Technical college or university trade certification (Millwright, Technician)
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Experience in packaging or automation industry preferred
  • Able to travel within North America 60% of the time
  • Diploma in PLC/HMI/Servo Controls or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of PLC/HMI/Servo controls (Allen Bradley/Siemens/Omron; Festo/Bosch)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal guidance
