About the Role
Gallagher's Claims division in Ontario is seeking a Claims Advocacy Associate to provide support to the Commercial Claims team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the insurance industry.
Work Environment
We offer a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with colleagues in the office. This position can be based out of Gallagher's London, Stoney Creek, or Markham office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Data input using EPIC, Word, and Excel
- Maintain, coordinate, and update files
- Connect with adjusters regarding open claims
- Process incoming mail in a timely fashion
- Receive and report minor new claims from clients
- Assist Claims Advocates with workload as needed
- Work on special Claims projects as needed
Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Insurance
- RIBO, CAIB, or CIP designations or courses completed towards designations
- Client services and/or advocacy experience in Commercial or Personal Insurance
- RIBO License required within 6 months of starting the role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
