About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Chana Woodworking Ltd. as a Cabinetmaker Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced cabinetmakers in the construction of high-quality cabinets and furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights and in noisy environments. A willingness to relocate and work in various locations is essential.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
