About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our team at Chana Woodworking Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our cabinetmakers in various tasks related to construction and woodworking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Help mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Assist in cleaning and piling salvaged materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Tend or Feed Machines: Assist in tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction, as needed.
Work Environment

As a Cabinetmaker Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy and dusty conditions. You must be willing to relocate to various locations and have your own transportation.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination to ensure accuracy and quality in your work.
  • Team Player: As a team player, you will work collaboratively with our cabinetmakers and other team members to achieve project goals.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
