Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Operations Specialist to join our team at Cadillac Fairview. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building systems and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and building occupants, responding to their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the facilities management team to ensure seamless operation of building systems and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Building technician certificate and/or instrumentation and control certificate an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum years' experience in physical plant operations, HVAC, and other related equipment preferably in an office building or mixed-use environment.
  • Skills: Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures, current technology, electrical/mechanical systems, and blueprint reading and comprehension.
  • Licenses: Th Class Power Engineer License required.
