We are now hiring Transportation Professionals to join our team of dedicated Drivers in Prescott, Ontario. As a Transportation Professional, you will play a critical role in safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being.

The Job Overview

">

As a Transportation Professional, your primary responsibility will be to operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bus, as well as performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.

The Ideal Candidate

">

We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must have a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years old. Additionally, you will undergo a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.

What We Offer

As a Transportation Professional with First Student, you can expect a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on location and experience. Our drivers enjoy the support of industry-leading technology to guide them through their daily routes, as well as opportunities for additional hours and charter route work. We also offer a child ride-along program and flexible scheduling options, including no nights or weekends unless you choose to work them.
