At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a dedicated Caregiver Supervisor to join our Home Support Worker team in Squamish, British Columbia. As a Caregiver Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and guidance to caregivers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to clients in their homes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of caregivers, providing on-the-job training and coaching, and evaluating their performance. You will also be involved in assessing client needs, developing care plans, and monitoring the implementation of these plans.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of caregivers
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to caregivers
  • Evaluate the performance of caregivers
  • Assess client needs and develop care plans
  • Monitor the implementation of care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance to caregivers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess client needs and develop effective care plans
  • Valid BC Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
