Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Associate to join our team at Highland Manor Fergus.
Job Summary:The Patient Care Associate will provide high-quality patient care and support services, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents. This is a full-time permanent position with an estimated annual salary of $45,000 - $50,000 based on 30-35 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities:- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Supply and empty bed pans, take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
- Serve meal trays and feed patients, make beds and maintain patients' rooms
- Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, collect specimens
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
