Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Marine Seafood. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for Marine Seafood.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine product requirements and develop purchasing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
