Vahagn's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Meat Product Specialist.
About the RoleThis permanent position offers 30 to 35 hours of work per week, with a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Meat Product Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the display of merchandise, providing advice about products, and maintaining sales records for inventory control.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
- Provide expert advice about meat products to customers.
- Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control.
- Assist in displaying merchandise to create an appealing shopping experience.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- No degree, certificate or diploma.
- Experience is an asset but not required.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to provide positive customer service.
The Meat Product Specialist will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
