About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team at Global Relay. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex software systems using Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends, and apply that knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on enterprise software development.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
What We Offer

At Global Relay, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $100,000 CAD, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health benefits, RRSP matching, and a corporate bonus.
