About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Alliance Glass Doors Inc. As a key member of our installation crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of glass installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project.
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass with precision to ensure accurate fitting.
  • Position and secure panes in frames, paying close attention to detail and safety protocols.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, adhering to manufacturer instructions and industry standards.
  • Install door, window, and other hardware components, guaranteeing seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, demonstrating expertise in glass repair techniques.
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Transport cases of glass with care, ensuring minimal risk of damage during transit.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement.
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation or a related field is preferred.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring basic security clearance. The work term is full-time, with an estimated 35 hours per week. Work language is English, and we offer a competitive salary.
