About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the advancement of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate clinical knowledge to support the translation of knowledge to practice
  • Design and implement education programs that integrate a learner-centered approach
  • Provide consultation and support to advance practice and maintain evidence-based standards of care
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a culture of learning and collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • Master of Nursing/Health Care/Education preferred
  • Active practicing license in good standing with NSCN required
  • A minimum of three years full-time clinical nursing experience within the last five years in Primary Health Care required
  • Relevant CNA/other specialty certification required or willingness to complete
  • BLS-C (HCP) certification required
