Job Summary

The Associate Insurance Advisor I plays a critical role in the support and development of the agency operation, focusing on the sales and service of Co-operators personal lines products (auto and home insurance).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales and Service: Drive profitable growth of personal lines insurance products, advise clients on coverage options, and provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Risk Assessment: Conduct front-line risk assessments and select policies that meet client needs, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  3. Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services that benefit clients, promoting a seamless and personalized client experience.
  4. Client Satisfaction: Achieve individual goals for client satisfaction, sales, quality, and productivity, contributing to the agency's overall success.
Requirements:
  • General Insurance License is required within two (2) months; ongoing professional development is essential.
  • Provincial licensing requirements must be met through continuing education to maintain all licenses.
  • One year of sales and service experience or related business experience is preferred; knowledge of auto and property insurance products is an asset.
