Senior Municipal Engineer - Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills to oversee our major projects in municipal engineering. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who can provide strategic direction, business development, and project management expertise to drive our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentor and coach junior and intermediate-level designers and technical professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Engineering Degree.
  • Ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Nova Scotia.
  • Broad scope knowledge of civil designs and an understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods.
  • Land development design experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and a creative thinker.
  • Keen decision-making abilities.
