The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of the needs of our community.

We offer a competitive salary range of $42,000-$47,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description:
  • Assist with Program Implementation: The successful candidate will assist with the delivery of programs and services, participate in training and meetings, and contribute to the planning, organizing, and coordinating of activities.
  • Provide Administrative Support: This includes typing reports, memos, letters, and correspondence, filing, photocopying, arranging courier services, sending materials by fax, operating a computer, etc.
  • Gather Feedback: The candidate will gather feedback from workshops, events, and surveys to assess community needs and determine types of activities, events, and programming.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 Diploma: A Grade 12 diploma with 1 or more years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups, preferably in a First Nation setting.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with computers, MS software programs, and the Internet.
  • General Office Procedures: Familiarity with general office procedures and working with the public.
  • Cultural Competence: General knowledge of prevention services, child and family services, and the cultural and social structure of Nigignibi.
