Indigenous Wellness Care Coordinator

At Anishinabek Employment & Training Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cultural Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in promoting holistic mental wellness care that is inclusive of traditional knowledge, services, and medicines within our First Nation communities.
The successful candidate will possess a sound understanding of western medicine as an asset. This individual will collaborate with clients, families, and staff to foster an overall balance of health and wellbeing within our communities.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences, specifically in Indigenous Learning and/or Cultural Studies, or an equivalent degree. A focus on Indigenous and mental health studies is preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have two years of experience working in a health-related organization in a service coordination capacity, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
