About Cam Transport Ltd

We are a dynamic transportation company seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Job Summary

The Senior Bookkeeper will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for:

  • Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
  • Preparing cheques for payroll, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts
  • Preparation of tax returns and trial balance of books
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting software, MS Office, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
