About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Marjolaine Dion C.O. et RH. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating custom cabinets and furniture pieces using various woodworking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components
  • Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Study plans and specifications to create custom articles
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures

Requirements:

  • Cabinetmaker Trade Certification
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Accurate, organized, and punctual

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
