About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Onmyownbusiness Solutions Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial information, statements, and reports for individuals, departments, or companies.
  • Internal Control: Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Advice: Provide financial, business, and tax advice to stakeholders and act as a trustee in bankruptcy proceedings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Willing to work in various locations and relocate as needed.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel regularly.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
