Job Title: Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Onmyownbusiness Solutions Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, training staff, arranging training for staff, preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, and developing and maintaining cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems
  • Supervise staff and train them to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Examine accounting records
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice
  • Act as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial documents and reports
  • Computer skills, including QuickBooks
  • Willingness to travel regularly
