We are seeking a skilled Dietitian Specialist to join our team at Shannex, a leading provider of senior accommodations and care services. As a key member of our Enhanced Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nutrition care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assess residents' nutritional status and monitor their progress, making adjustments to their care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with residents and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical dietetics, applying this knowledge to improve our residents' outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of residents' nutrition care, including their dietary needs, preferences, and allergies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition care.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Dietitian Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents. To be successful in this role, you will need:

A degree in Human Nutrition with completion of an approved Dietetic Internship Program.Membership in a professional association related to dietetics.Experience in clinical dietetics, preferably in a long-term care setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying current with the latest research and best practices in clinical dietetics.
