Job Title: Early Childhood Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team at Aspen Hill Montessori Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, training, and volunteers, as well as assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems.
  • Prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, and establish guidelines for behavior.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, and supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) certification.
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Training certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
Working Conditions:

  • Manual dexterity required.
