About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at JEFAGRO TECHNOLOGIES INC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to process and package food products and beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Machinery: Operate multi-functional process control machinery to process and package food products and beverages.
  • Perform Corrective Adjustments: Perform corrective machine adjustments to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Record Production Information: Record production information, including production levels and quality control data.
  • Monitor Processing Conditions: Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Inform Supervisor of Issues: Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
  • Adjust Process Variables: Make adjustments to process variables to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Maintain Shift Log: Maintain shift log of production and other data.
  • Set Up and Adjust Machinery: Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Check Products for Defects: Check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: French language proficiency required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with exposure to odours and dust.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Own transportation required, public transportation not available.
