Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Short Stay Pediatrics

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Richmond Hospital's Short Stay Pediatric Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and their families in a fast-paced short stay setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
  • Experience working in a pediatric setting, preferably in a short stay or emergency department.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
