As a Part-time Pharmacist with our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that medications are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care.

We take an active role in working with our home operator partners to promote resident health, staff education, and medication system quality and efficiency.

This part-time position requires approximately 16 hours of work per week and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing
  • Consult with the Pharmacy Manager on unresolved issues
  • Provide exceptional customer care to patients and home partners
  • Maintain accurate and organized resident health records
  • Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and provide recommendations
  • Follow provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Strong partnerships with healthcare professionals
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with Kroll Windows application
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Salary: $50-$70 per hour, estimated based on industry standards and location. This salary range takes into account the job requirements, expected responsibilities, and qualifications necessary for success in this role.
