Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Trimming Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
- Meat Preparation: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and wrap and package prepared meats for sale.
- Meat Sales: Sell meats to customers, including cutting poultry into parts and pricing meat products.
- Meat Processing: Remove bones from meat, grind meats, and make special sausages.
- Meat Display: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, sausage machines, and slicing machines.
