We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Finch Super Market & Meat. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and prepare for sale
- Weigh and price meat products for sale
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a meat cutting or butchery role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
