Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment to optimize facility performance
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in regulatory checks
  • Perform facility repairs and provide technical support to operations staff
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and checks
  • Complete small-part fabrication using plasma cutting and welding equipment

Requirements

  • Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal certification
  • Minimum three years of experience in an industrial setting or comparable service work
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial machinery, including grain handling and cleaning systems
  • Ability to read schematic drawings, equipment diagrams, and blueprints
