Senior Manager, Supply Chain Solutions Expert

CHEP is a global leader in the supply chain solutions industry, and we are seeking a Senior Manager to join our team. As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Solutions, you will be responsible for creating and delivering value for customers through sales, value delivery for CHEP's growing portfolio of consultative, value-added supply chain solutions and transportation collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clarify customer needs and identify opportunities for value creation aligned with strategic commercial plans.
  • Develop proposals to deliver existing solutions to customers with clearly defined customer value and ROI.
  • Deliver value to our customers by successfully executing supply chain solution engagements.
  • Design new supply chain solutions to fulfill currently unmet customer needs.

  • Annual Revenue Budget: TBD
  • Number of Countries: 1
  • Number of Locations: Canada locations

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Customer value created and recognized
  • Successful completion of project deliverables, resource planning, and customer retention
  • Sales and profits from new revenue stream opportunities
  • New product and solution pipeline
  • Identification of future, needs-based and solution-led growth opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Related field
  • Well-developed oral, written, and graphical communication skills, including development & presentation of formal briefings and proposals or supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Engineering
  • PMP certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Master Black Belt Certification

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years CPG manufacturing or Retail supply chain experience (manufacturer, retailer, or service provider)
  • Minimum 5 years client-facing strategic or consultative sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years process improvement experience in a manufacturing or retail environment

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results by collaborating with sales & marketing functions
  • Proven commercial skills including the ability to build strong relationships with customers, creating trust and confidence at multiple levels of the organization in order to uncover strategic priorities and needs
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to be provided to a team working in various locations across the U.S. and Canada

  • Bachelors - Business Administration/Management, Bachelors - Engineering Mechanics, Bachelors - Supply Chain Management, Masters - Engineering Mechanics, Masters - Supply Chain Management

Preferred Level of Work Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years
