Hair Stylist

We are seeking a skilled Hair Stylist to join our team at Diamond Beauty. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, and coloring hair.
Job Description:- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 33 to 40 hours per week
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience
- Book appointments and provide exceptional customer service
- Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
- Shampoo customers' hair and provide scalp conditioning massages
- Shave and trim beards and mustaches
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
- Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
- Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
- Perform receptionist duties and maintain and order supplies
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player
