About the Role

We are seeking an experienced High-Level ASIC Verification Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Engineering Group, you will play a critical role in designing and verifying next-generation camera systems.

Job Overview

In this position, you will lead and plan end-to-end verification of advanced camera hardware, defining best-in-class verification strategies based on system specifications and use case complexities. You will deploy models, simulators, profilers, or real hardware to provide quantitative justification for HW architectural directions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and plan end-to-end verification of advanced camera hardware
  • Define best-in-class verification strategies based on system specifications and use case complexities
  • Deploy models, simulators, profilers, or real hardware to provide quantitative justification for HW architectural directions
  • Apply computer architecture knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, cache coherency, bus interconnect, MMU, and memory/bandwidth analysis
  • Effectively communicate results, review with technical leads and peers, and analyze outstanding issues
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in system or chipset verification for SoC products, preferably in the mobile market
  • Experience in multimedia HW verification (imaging, video, display, audio, sensors, etc.) and ML/AI accelerators
  • Experience with OS principles and HW/SW interaction
  • Experience with SoC, bus interconnect, and memory technologies
  • First pass silicon success from concept to tapeout to production. Experience with unit level and full chip level verification environments
  • MS Degree Required with 12+ years industry experience in one or more of the following areas: VLSI design and verification methodologies, C/C++/SystemC/System Verilog programming, UVM/VMM/RVM methodologies, pragmatic scripting & automation skills, working knowledge of UNIX environment

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $145,000 - CAD $175,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
