Director of Finance

ANDRITZ is seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our finance team. As Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, business controlling, project controlling, and analysis. Your expertise will ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of financial forecasts and long-term financial plans.
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, business controlling, and financial reporting.
  • Manage working capital and optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare and review monthly/yearly reporting packages for the Canadian Division's financial statements.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Establish performance metrics and manage the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years' experience in progressively senior-level financial or accounting/audit positions, ideally with a large international corporation.
  • Demonstrated supervisory capabilities.
  • Skilled in financial analysis, preparation of statements, and corporate reporting.
  • Able to identify risks as well as opportunities to provide feedback on decisions affecting financial results of the company.
  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP accounting systems.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 CAD based on a work week. ANDRITZ is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
