Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Autograph Collection/Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
  • Restock and replenish supplies as needed, including toiletries, towels, and linens.
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner, including delivering items to guest rooms and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the housekeeping cart and storage areas.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in housekeeping and customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly and efficiently throughout the hotel.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
