Job Summary

The Maritime Service Agent is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Relais Nordik's activities at the port of Blanc Sablon. This includes managing customer relationships, both local and tourist, as well as administrative and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the arrival and departure of the Bella Desgagnés, a mixed cargo and passenger vessel.
  • Manage the reception and transportation of various goods, including vehicles and passengers.
  • Ensure the proper coding and pricing of goods, as well as maintain accurate administrative records.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to implement and maintain essential elements for the agency's smooth operation.
  • Supervise and participate in all activities related to maritime service operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma of secondary studies.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a company.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Card of competence for the operation of forklifts, an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French, both orally and in writing (essential to meet the needs of clients, agents, and suppliers who are unilingual).
  • Knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Availability.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Good physical condition.
