About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Arborg Foods Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate special events and prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
