Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Arch Pro Construction Inc.

Job Summary

The Tile Setter will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on walls and floors. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing and applying adhesives, and aligning and straightening tiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including cleaning and applying adhesives
  • Mix and apply adhesives to ensure proper bonding
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Install tile strips and mosaic tiles for decorative designs
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in tile installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

The Tile Setter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
