Senior Manager, Scientific Research and Development

In a fast-paced and dynamic environment, our empowered teams thrive on innovation and entrepreneurship. As a Senior Manager, Scientific Research and Development, you will be part of a diverse team of professionals who deliver customized tax strategies within a complex regulatory framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with client finance departments to maximize SR&ED tax credits by reviewing financial statements and general ledgers.
- Work with the SR&ED team to prepare claims and identify eligible expenditures under the SR&ED Tax Credit program.
- Gather supporting documentation and evidence of experimentation to satisfy CRA requirements.
- Manage multiple clients and deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Interact with peers, clients, and CRA representatives as needed.
Requirements:
- CPA with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including corporate income tax, financial accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Minimum 4 years of SR&ED experience.
- Focus on achieving high-quality, timely, and profitable results.
- Knowledge of financial service organizations like MNP and their service offerings is an asset.
