Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical team and drive the development of new products and services.

About the Role:

  • Strategic Support: Provide vision and strategic support to advance product development initiatives for electrical and electronic products.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the electrical team, responsible for all aspects of electrical operations, including R&D and manufacturing resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain engineering policies and practices.
  2. Lead the development of new electrical/electronic offerings, working with external vendors or developing internal capabilities.
  3. Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to understand market demand and opportunities.
  4. SUPPORT SALES, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, DESIGN, AND CUSTOMERS IN DEVELOPING PROJECT SPECIFIC ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC SOLUTIONS
  5. Coordinate and manage support of field inquiries regarding electrical issues for existing customers and product installations.
  6. Manage the manufacturing electrical operation, ensuring products meet timelines as outlined by scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • P.Eng designation or pursuit of.
  • Expert MS Office skills related to field of study or equivalent.
  • Team management and leadership.
  • Execution of daily operational tasks in all aspects of the role.
  • Understanding of various electrical codes (NEC) and implications on our products and services.
  • Interaction with stakeholders, formulating interactions into tangible action items or strategic initiatives.
  • Hands-on product design, including development of new products and job-specific customization.
  • Understanding market needs and developing adequate solutions.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required; Master's degree optional.
