The Adult Day Program Director/Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the adult day program, ensuring high-quality care and engaging activities for participants. This role involves managing staff, coordinating services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and support program staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and programs that meet the needs and interests of participants.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to create individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including attendance, incident reports, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare administration, recreation, community programming or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Previous experience as a Program Manager/Director in a Day program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
