**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Program Manager to join our team in Enterprise Supports.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety programs across various service areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and advice on occupational health and safety matters, including investigating accidents, work refusals, and liaising with regulatory authorities.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain an occupational hygiene program, identify and evaluate exposures to chemical, physical, and biological agents
  • Conduct sound level surveys, designated substance, confined space, and ergonomic assessments
  • Liaise with Occupational Health personnel and Service providers to determine medical surveillance protocols
  • Perform workplace audits and inspections to identify potential and actual hazards

**Requirements**

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, or a related discipline combined with a post-graduate certificate or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Five years of previous related experience as a management representative working in a unionized environment
  • Registered as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or similar occupational health and safety-related certification is an asset

**Working Conditions**

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team. They must also be able to work outside normal business hours, as required, and respond to emergency situations on an on-call basis.
