Key Responsibilities- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscape professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for our clients' properties, including lawn care, pruning, and other landscaping tasks.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine the necessary resources required for each project, ensuring accurate estimates and timely completion.
- Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards and within budget.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain all project-related data, including timelines, budgets, and personnel information.
- Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand project plans, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed correctly.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure all necessary materials and equipment for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and address any issues that may arise during projects, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- 11-15 Years of Experience: Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with a minimum of 11-15 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
- Landscape Construction Expertise: In-depth knowledge of landscape construction principles, practices, and techniques.
- Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision in all aspects of the job.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Ability to work in a variety of environments, including sitting, standing, and walking.
- Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
