Window Installation Specialist

At EM Contracting LTD., we are seeking a skilled Window Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality window installations that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Layout and Installation Procedures: Work with our team to determine the best layout and installation procedures for each job, taking into account the specific requirements of the project.
  • Measure and Mark Guidelines: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand for each job.
  • Operate Hand and Power Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, including erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that installations are completed according to plan.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, at heights, and in a variety of locations.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and installation environments.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with hand tools and ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Area of Specialization: Aluminum windows and doors, and general window installation.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel to various locations.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work requiring attention to detail, handling of heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctual, accurate, dependable, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
