Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Stingray, a leading music, media, and technology company. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our multimedia platforms and ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for our music content platforms
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure high-quality code and efficient deployment
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
  • Work with our database team to ensure seamless integration with our SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Develop and maintain APIs for our music content platforms
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience)
  • Good knowledge of at least one OOP language (Java, C#, C++, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate in French and English
  • Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB
  • Hands-on experience with Java frameworks, especially Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices
  • Competence in using configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Familiarity with Linux environments
