At PROLIFIC ROAD LINES INC., we are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software and systems, and will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other reports. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare tax returns
* Prepare trial balance of books
* Reconcile accounts

**Requirements:**

* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
* 1 to less than 7 months of experience
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficient in accounting software and systems
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
