Prestige Vernon Lodge Room Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to join our housekeeping team as a Room Attendant at Prestige Vernon Lodge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests' rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and handle lost and found items.
  • Communication: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
Work Environment:

As a Room Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
