Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Best Way Constructions. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and assist in demolishing buildings as needed.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Client focus, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent. The job involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, making it a great opportunity for those interested in green jobs.
