Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Construction Laborer to join our team at ESSKAY HOMES INC. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong work ethic, ability to work at heights, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including cranes
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other site infrastructure
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on site procedures
  • Operate cranes and other heavy machinery under supervision
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Operate various types of cranes, including tower cranes and dragline cranes
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including at heights. You must be comfortable with dust and other site hazards.
