About the Role:

K Sidhu Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Work Environment:

The Steel Stud Framer will work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and will be required to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines

What We Offer:

K Sidhu Contracting Ltd. offers a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week, in a commercial and residential setting, with various locations.
